We are Bristol’s largest independent tail lift dealer, which means we sell more than one manufacturer’s lifts and are not obliged to recommend any of them.

That matters more than it sounds. A dealer tied to a single range has one answer to every question. We can look at the vehicle, the payload and the work it does, and say which of these makes actually suits it — or that the lift you already have is fine and does not need replacing.

We hold a network of manufacturer relationships for supply and for genuine parts. For servicing, repair and examination the list matters less: we maintain every make below and a good many we do not sell.

Not sure what is on your vehicle? Most lifts carry a plate on the frame or the column with the make and a serial number. Send us a photograph of the rear of the vehicle and we will tell you what it is.

Do you only work on the makes listed here?
No. This is the list we can supply new and get genuine parts for. We service, repair and examine well beyond it — if it lifts, we have almost certainly seen one.
Which make should I buy?
It depends on the vehicle, the payload, how often it cycles and what you are loading. That is the conversation to have on the phone rather than a name we could print here. Being independent, we have no reason to steer you.
Do you use genuine parts?
Yes, always. Pattern parts are what turn a repair into a recurring fault, and they undermine both the warranty and the examination certificate.
Can you get parts for an older lift?
Usually. Tell us the make and the serial number off the plate and we will tell you honestly whether it is still supported or whether you are better replacing the unit.
How do I find out what make mine is?
There is normally a plate on the frame or the column carrying the make and serial number. Photograph it, or photograph the back of the vehicle, and send it over.
