The terms on which you use this website — and where the terms of an actual job are set out.
1. About these terms
These terms govern your use of this website, which is operated by Bristol Hydralifts of Unit 3, Bonville Business Centre, Brislington, Bristol, BS4 5QQ. By using the site you accept them.
They cover the website itself. They are not the terms of a job: where we quote for work, the terms of that work are the ones set out on the quotation and confirmed with you before we start.
2. Information on this site
We describe our services as accurately as we can, and we keep the technical and regulatory information on this site current to the best of our knowledge.
None of it is a substitute for looking at your vehicle. Examination intervals, weight ratings and what a particular fault requires depend on the equipment in front of us, so treat what is written here as general guidance and ring us about the specific lift.
Nothing on this website is a binding offer. A price becomes a price when we have quoted for your vehicle and you have accepted it.
3. Enquiries and bookings
Sending an enquiry through this site does not book anything and does not commit either of us. It starts a conversation.
A booking exists once we have confirmed it with you and agreed what is being done, when, and for how much. If you need to change or cancel, ring the workshop as early as you can — 0117 9770810. Where you are dealing with us as a consumer rather than a business, your statutory rights are unaffected by anything on this page.
4. Our liability
We take reasonable care over this website but do not guarantee that it will always be available or free of error, and we are not liable for indirect or unforeseeable loss arising from your use of it.
Nothing in these terms limits or excludes our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited. Our liability for work we carry out is dealt with in the terms of that work, not here.
5. Intellectual property
The text, photographs, layout and branding on this site belong to Bristol Hydralifts or to our licensors. Manufacturer names and logos shown on this site are the trade marks of their respective owners and appear to identify the equipment we supply, service and repair.
6. Links to other sites
Where we link to another organisation we do so because we think it is useful. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for their content.
7. Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction.
